Trevor Lloyd

Trevor Lloyd is Director of a privately owned consulting firm, Lloyd Consulting Environmental Services, which specialises in contaminated land assessment, water & waste management, environmental assessment, auditing & management services.  Trevor is also Director of Sustainability Queensland, a company specialising in natural resource investment planning.

Trevor holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) from the University of Qld and a Master of Engineering Science (Waste Management) from the University of NSW.

Trevor has further training in Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (University of Qld), Environmental Toxicology & Health Risk Assessment (Qld Centre for Public Health), Contaminated Land Assessment & Remediation (University of Qld) and Management Systems Auditing (Bywater). Trevor is a nationally certified Environmental Compliance & Management Systems Auditor (RABQSA No.13642).

Trevor managed the closure & clean-up of the Willawong Hazardous Waste Site & was the inaugural project manager of the nationally recognised SEQ Healthy Waterways Strategy.

Trevor established the International WaterCentre on behalf of partner universities, the University of Queensland, Griffith University, Monash University and the University of Western Australia.

Trevor has managed and contributed to a wide range of integrated water cycle planning, water quality and ecosystem health management programs for community, government and industry.

Trevor has also developed environmental risk management systems for a range of major public sector organisations and private corporations and has undertaken a range of environmental due diligence audits for major firms for public floats and private property and business asset sales.

Trevor has undertaken auditing of over 100 contaminated sites and is considered an industry leader in contaminated site assessment and remediation.  Trevor is Queensland’s first certified statutory Contaminated Land Auditor (Cert. No.CLA00001).
